Adam Cuvilier, aka groovy Cuvy came across the Edmonton Electronic Music Scene in 1999. He explored different genres of DJing at 88.5 FM CJSR with radio shows that included Smooth Radio and House Underground FM, which spanned from 2002-2008. Groovy Cuvy then expanded his DJ persona going from throwing Rave parties to opening his first nightclub, called Level 2 Lounge in 2005. That expanded to 2014, which he is still throwing annual reunion parties which attract a large crowd every year. Groovy Cuvy has also signed on with several different record labels, including Sovereign House, Limbo Recordings, Looking Glass,  Pop & Lock, and Northern Lights.

Groovy Cuvy has also DJ'd for Breakfast Television, Stollery Children's Festival, and other well known events.

Groovy Cuvy has done international tours in the Canary Islands, England, Thailand, and Vietnam, between 2007-2011.
